The International Society for Ecological Economics

 

Overview
The International Society for Ecological Economics (ISEE) is a not-for-profit, member-governed, organization dedicated to advancing understanding of the relationships among ecological, social, and economic systems for the mutual well-being of nature and people. It was founded in 1989. Its presidents have been Bob Costanza, Dick Norgaard, John Proops, Charles Perrings, Joan Martinez-Alier, Peter May, and now John Gowdy (2010-2011).
