Sustainable Agriculture Community Development Programmes (SACDEP)

Sustainable Agriculture Community Development  Programmes (SACDEP) aims to facilitate sustainable development for communities in Kenya and the East African Region who have low access to resources, to enable livelihood improvement through sustainable agriculture principles and practices.  This support is extended to the communities by way of fostering scientific and social cultural linkages that enables self-sustenance in food, nutrition and agro-incomes. The targeted groups for this support include farming and other vulnerable communities. The specific interventions include agricultural extension, technical training and research, networking and partnerships, advocacy, lobbying and campaigns as well as mitigation of impacts of the social economic factors.
