Peninsula Otter Watch

 

Overview
Peninsula Otter Watch is a project established by University of Cape Town PhD student, Nicola Okes, who is studying the spatial ecology and pollution burden of Cape Clawless Otters in the Cape Peninsula, South Africa. The Peninsula Otter Watch consists of a group of residents living near the coast, rivers or wetlands in the Peninsula who have an interest in ensuring the health of these systems – and who monitor and reports sightings of otters in their area, thereby assisting in Nicola’s research.
