Description: The Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) is pleased to invite you to the workstudio “Collaboration and Sustainability: A Multi-Sectoral Path for Growth through Business, Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation“, supported by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and organised in partnership with the Ghana Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
This multi-stakeholder workstudio aims to:
- Discuss the current state of lifestyles and relevant impacts in Ghana (environmental, social, and economic). Such as the current individual lifestyle footprints and impacts, the aspirations for lifestyles and livelihoods in the future and examples of existing initiatives and promising practices of more sustainable living in Ghana
- Identify key opportunity areas for innovation and entrepreneurship to achieve more sustainable living in Ghana. Explore opportunities to scale up existing efforts and identify new collaborative opportunities.
- Co-create action plans for multi-stakeholder engagement to catalyze the advancement of existing sustainable innovations and to support new innovations for sustainable living.
During the workstudio your organisation will have the opportunity to explore existing initiatives on sustainable living and entrepreneurship, from Ghana and internationally, through the Global Network on Sustainable Lifestyles (www.vision 2050.net) and Global Network on Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship (www.scaling-up.net).
The workstudio is part of the projects Budding Ideas Glocally for 2050 (BIG2050) and Business Innovation for Sustainable Scale-up (BISS). Both projects contribute to the Global Network on Sustainable Lifestyles (www.vision2050.net) and the Global Network on Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship (www.scaling-up.net)
