Our Agenda: The Path to #2030Now
This September, after an extraordinary series of global consultations, leaders will come together at the United Nations to finalize and adopt a new set of global goals for the world we want in 2030.
The new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will represent the most comprehensive attempt in history to fight poverty and create prosperity while protecting the planet.
As the world plans for three major summits this year that will pave the way for a better future for both people and the planet (the Third Financing for Development Summit in Addis Ababa, the Special Summit on Sustainable Development, and the Climate Change negotiations in Paris) the +SocialGood community has a unique opportunity to contribute to these plans for a better world.
The more famous these global goals are, and the more widely understood they are – the more politicians will take them seriously, finance them properly, refer to them frequently and feel the pressure to make them work.
Let’s help make them famous, and let’s help make them understood.
This is a mission for humanity; unified goals that resonate with everyone, everywhere.
