Description: Join the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves for the 2015 Clean Cooking Forum November 10-13, the largest international biennial gathering of professionals working to advance the clean cooking sector.  Hosted by the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves in Accra, Ghana, this year’s Forum will bring together more than 400 global leaders from the private sector, government, finance, civil society, academia, the UN, and Development Banks, for four days of informative sessions, plenaries, networking, site visits, and clean cooking demonstrations.  The Forum theme Accelerating Markets. Scaling Solutions. will mark the Alliance’s 5th Anniversary and convene global stakeholders to share best practices and business models, forge new partnerships, and strengthen the sector toward a 100 million household clean cooking adoption goal by 2020.

The Alliance is pleased to hold this year’s Forum in Ghana, where the national commitment to clean cooking is strong and where government, private sector, and civil society partners are working collaboratively to spur a thriving local market for clean cookstoves and fuels.  We are fortunate to have Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Hanna Tetteh as co-host of this year’s event, as well as the support of the Ghana Alliance for Clean Cookstoves (GHACCO), who will help showcase their sector’s technical innovation, market growth and future potential.

The 2015 Clean Cooking Forum will offer you an opportunity to come together with others in the sector, learn practical ways to further grow your enterprises and expand your markets, and establish partnerships to further your individual and collective efforts.  You will also have the chance to learn about new Alliance programs to raise awareness of the benefits of clean cooking and drive demand for cleaner cookstoves and fuels toward a world in which cooking shouldn’t kill.
