Description: The emphasis of this sixth international Ecosystem Services Partnership conference will be on the practical application of the ‘ecosystem services’ concept in planning, management and decision making illustrated with actual case studies. The program consists of a mix of plenary sessions, workshops (organized by the ESP working groups), open-topic sessions (proposed and organized by participants) and special sessions devoted to specific topics proposed by the collaborating organizations and sponsors. Mid-conference excursions will provide the opportunity to observe and discuss the application of ecosystem services in practice at selected field sites on Bali.
