Description:  The SEED Initiative would like to invite you to the 2014 SEED South Africa Symposium  which this year will focus on the creation of green jobs and the opportunities for grassroots social and environmental enterprises.

The primary objective is to provide a platform for entrepreneurs, policy makers, finance and business support institutions, researchers and legal experts to share their knowledge and experience in sustainable entrepreneurship in South Africa and to discuss with participants solutions to enable its further growth. The event will bring together around 100 delegates.

We are honoured to have as keynote speakers at the Symposium Derek Hanekom, Minister of Science and Technology, and François Bonnici, Director of the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business.

Please save the date: The Symposium will take place on 19-20 March 2014 at CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria, starting at 4 pm on 19th March and ending after lunch on 20th March. The event is being organized in close cooperation with the Government of Flanders and the International Labour Organization.
