Description: The use of renewable energy has been captivating the world in the last decade as seen by a steady rise in its interest in both the developed and developing countries. Usage of any of these technologies depends absolutely on the availability of the renewable energy resource to be harnessed. This course takes you through the different existing RE resources and then focuses on the commercially viable existing renewable energy technologies while appraising their suitability for different situations and different parts of the world and culminating with an introduction to how the electricity sources can be integrated into the grid.
